Enjoy the water without the engine note.
No exhaust note or two-stroke scream across the water. The complaint that gets Jet PWCs restricted simply is not there.

EClass is developing a conversion kit for used petrol JetSkis — keeping the hull, pump and trailer, and replacing the part that fails: the petrol engine.
Why electric
Petrol Jet PWCs are often restricted because of noise and exhaust. Electric changes that equation — without asking you to buy a whole new craft.
No exhaust note or two-stroke scream across the water. The complaint that gets Jet PWCs restricted simply is not there.
No exhaust into the water you are riding on, and no petrol to carry, store or spill in the hull.
Reuse the hull, pump, steering and trailer. Replace the complex petrol engine with a simpler electric drive system.
No petrol to buy, carry or store. Charging still uses electricity, unless you charge from your own solar.
No oil, plugs, winterising or season-opening rebuild — and far fewer moving parts to service.
The approach
A good hull should not become landfill because one hard-worked engine has reached the end of its life. EClass applies the same reuse-first thinking as its electric outboard RePower kits.
These are kits, not complete Jet PWCs. Installation is planned through marine service centres, with professional fit and ongoing support.
Where this goes next
A JetSki may get ridden for only fifteen or twenty days a year. For the other 345, its battery is sitting on the trailer. With around 20 kWh on board — about 1.5 Powerwalls — the long-term idea is to charge from your roof and use it to help power the house when you are not riding.
On Saturday, it comes to the beach with you. During the week, it could help shift solar energy into the evening peak instead of leaving the battery idle in the garage.
Vehicle-to-home needs a bidirectional inverter and compliant switchgear, including AS/NZS 4777 requirements. It is part of what EClass is working through — not a feature currently being sold.
Where it is up to
The electric JetSki conversion kit is in development. EClass would rather tell you where it is than promise a date it cannot hold.
Initial electric JetSki prototypes were developed and tested in 2021–2022.
EClass has been awarded a NSW Government MVP Ventures grant to continue refining the conversion technology.
Next: kits made available through marine service centres, so installation is professional and there is service behind it.

Questions
A kit that converts a used petrol JetSki into an electric personal watercraft by reusing the existing hull and running gear, and replacing the petrol engine with an electric drive.
Kits. EClass is not building a new craft. The plan is to make the conversion kit available for professional installation through marine service centres.
The current development targets are 60+ kph and 40 minutes at that speed, with longer run time possible at lower speeds. These are targets, not final specifications.
The kit is still in development. Register your interest and EClass will let you know as the technology moves toward a commercial product.
That is exactly the kind of PWC the conversion approach is intended to explore. Register your details and include the make, model and year if you know them.
